H型钢作为钢支撑、钢围檩的主要构件，由于H型钢的各个部位均以直角排列，因此H型钢在各个方向上都具有抗弯效果，支撑材料重量轻、体积小，安拆方便，现场施工灵活。并可在基坑受力较大处采取多根H型钢组合使用，满足受力要求。采用可调式双向螺旋液压千斤顶作为预加力装置，使螺旋液压千斤顶与H型钢组合为一体共同受力。围檩与围檩间、围檩与支撑间均采用螺栓联结，使钢支撑体系联结为整体，通过双向式螺旋液压千斤顶，自由地加载及卸荷预加应力，实现了对支撑预加应力的及时调控。钢支撑与围檩采用螺栓联结，同时也提高了支撑体系的安全性。

400*400H型钢做围令是目前最常用、最普及的规格，具有稳固性、不倾覆、强度高等特点，可用于开挖深度7米以上基坑。
